DIRECTV is making a big push with its 101 Network, bringing a network series and an original Starz show to the exclusive channel's lineup.

The 101 will kick off its fall season on Oct. 1 with delivery of the drama "Friday Night Lights," which will air commercial-free and in high-def. Also, The 101 will offer the new companion show "Live From Dillon." Other shows on the channel include the return of "Supreme Court of Comedy" and "Rock and a Hard Place."

In addition, The 101 is presenting a sneak preview of "Crash," the new original series from Starz Entertainment.  That series will be delivered in HD.
